Johnny Vet: Freedom Isn’t Free is a dynamic and inspirational musical journey of the men and women who have fought the nation’s wars and how those same men and women, as veterans, have helped to shape the nation and its destiny.

“A Must See show for Music Lovers, History Fans and the 99% of Americans who benefit from the service and sacrifice of our Nation's Military Troops, Veterans and their Families!”

This original musical show was first produced in 2017 by the West Point Alumni Glee Club for a near sellout audience. It features a compelling historical narrative, punctuated with both original and traditional music to take the audience from the start of Johnny Vet’s journey with “the shot heard round the world” in 1775 to the present day era of the Global War on Terror.

A second production was staged in 2019 by Rock Ridge Performing Arts in Ashburn, VA, demonstrating the ability of the show to serve as a strong educational vehicle for student involvement in all aspects of the production.
